Wow. Honestly, can you think of a better way to start off talking about these brilliant bespoke cakes by U.K.-based cake designer, Peggy Porschen? Well, I cannot. I’m too busy perusing these spectacular creations and trying to keep my mouth closed. They’re just beautiful!

Founded in 2003, the company is headed by the award-winning cake designer and Creative Director and her husband Bryn Morrow, Managing Director. Together with her talented team of pastry chefs and sugar-craft artists, Peggy is passionate about creating edible works of art that taste as good as they look. And, that passion is clearly evidenced by the amazing and elegant examples shown here.

Florrie Mitton Couture Garters

Admittedly, when it comes to bridal accessories the garter is an afterthought at best for me. It’s tradition, it’s a garter, moving on. That, however, ceased to be the case when I came upon the glamorous couture offerings by U.K. designer label Florrie Mitton. The handmade line consists of beautiful laces, silk satins, chiffon & tulle all trimmed with silk ribbons, vintage sparkles, charms and jewels. They are ultra feminine and fashion-forward and proof that it is all about the details.

Angee W. Bridal Clutches

There are lots of accessories that a bride considers as part of her overall wedding day look. While the obvious choices are shoes, veil, jewelry, and bouquet, a bride is also going to need a purse for a few essentials and a clutch is a classic and stylish choice. And, stylish is precisely what you’ll find with the multitude of offerings at Angee W.

Founded in 2009 by mother-daughter team, Angee & Vincci, this talented duo uses jewelry, feathers, lace, floral adornments and more, to bring together their exquisite creations. You can even customize the lining of each clutch with your engagement photo or another special image as well as having an embroidered message placed inside (which would make for a memorable bridesmaid gift). Vintage Wedding Cake Toppers that Will Take Your Breath Away

Around here, we spend much of our time knee-deep in gorgeousness (hard life, right?) so it takes something extra-pretty to make us stand up and shout. Which is a fairly accurate description of what I did when I saw these oh-so-lovely cake toppers from Vintage Proverbs 356 – I believe “squeal” is the exact word.

Made mainly from artificial flowers (although they certainly don’t photograph that way), each cake topper is custom-made and one-of-a-kind. What I like best about them, though, is that they are really all you would need to have a stunning, elegant wedding cake; in the photos a simple, white cake is elevated to an “Ahh”-worthy version with the addition of the topper. Plus, you could re-use it after your Big Day and impress friends and family at dinner parties when you whip out dessert.
