February’s Top 5 Favorite Wedding Details

There have been so many beautiful weddings this month that I wanted to do a little round-up of my top 5 fave wedding details. If you haven’t had a chance to look at these, check them out! I mean, it is Friday afternoon, what else are you going to do? Work? I think not.

I am crazy bananas for these bouquets. They are  gorgeous and lovely and suited Kate’s elegant outdoor wedding perfectly.

How often do bridesmaids get to rock cute print dresses? These are so adorable and match Sarah’s wedding dresses (that’s right, plural) without distracting attention away from the bride. And I love the rose on the waist.

Lottery ticket = coolest wedding favor ever. Okay, so it would be slightly cooler if someone had won, but still…

One Love Photo

This may be my favorite wedding dress of all time. I just love it. It’s dreamy and feminine and flowy, but not at all cliched or “princessy.” Nicky looks like a character from some sort of epic romance novel here (and I mean that in the best possible way).

Don’t you just want a piece of this cake? Although the design is simple, it was executed to perfection. Seriously, talented cake bakeries amaze me with their work. And this cake topper is so compatible with how sweet Stefanie and Joshua’s wedding was.

Lovely Wedding Invitations from Rifle Paper Company

Recently I was wandering around Powell’s Books in Portland (if you ever have the chance, just go) and spotted some gorgeous note cards. When I turned them over, I saw they were made by Rifle Paper Company. I’ve been a fan of Rifle ever since my friend Kara introduced me to their adorable recipe box.

They have an amazing and unique style, which translates well into wedding invitations. Here are two of their 2012 designs. The first is a stunning floral with a romantic font, the second a woodland garden image perfect for any outdoor wedding.

I mean, seriously, who is going to decline one of these invitations? It’s not even possible to RSVP “no” to something so delightful!

Wedding Flowers: Lovely Inspiration for Your Bouquets

I have had the loveliest time today, trolling around the internet, looking at gorgeous flowers (all in the name of work, of course!). And there is one thing that has become crystal clear – regardless of which direction you go with your bouquet, it’s pretty much certain it’s going to be a stunner. You just can’t go wrong with flowers in a bunch!

Having said that, I know that choosing the right bouquet – one which matches your style and helps pull your wedding party’s attire together – is a big deal. So, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites (you’ve gotta have favorites, right?).

Now, you know we’re all about the romance this wedding season and these bouquets have the perfect amount of muted colors mixed with different textures. I think either one would be gorgeous at a Garden wedding…wedding-bouquet-soft-colors-roses-poms

Or if you like a touch more vintage with your romance, these bouquets, which feature only one type of flower, might do the trick. I love how just a touch of hot pink gives the roses a sentimental air that feels so different than if the whole bouquet was done up in fuchsia.wedding-bouquets-romantic-large-flowers-soft

This red bouquet absolutely stopped me in my tracks. Talk about fabulously glamorous! It completes her outfit, doesn’t it? Or if those are a bit too much for you, how about this version, which offers a hint of drama with its fuchsia flowers peeking through the more sedate black and white.wedding-bouquet-bright-red-leaves-pinks-tropical

And, speaking of white, how amazing are these bouquets? They both use the elegance of white flowers for two totally different looks. I was going to pinpoint where each one could find a home (farm wedding, destination wedding or even an elegant soiree) but I truly think either one would work in a multitude of locales…wedding-bouquet-white-light-colors-looseHave you decided on your bouquet yet?
