As much as I love wedding dresses that are flirty and fun or that make a serious statement, there is plenty of room in my heart for dresses that employ simple lines for a subtle sophistication. And no one does classic better than Lea-Ann Belter.
Her dresses are all manufactured here in the States or in Canada with serious attention to craftsmanship (each gown is reverse-stitched and fully silk-lined) so it’s totally comfortable; she also requires more measurements than any other designer so your dress will fit you perfectly. It’s this attention to detail combined with quality fabrics that lend her dresses an air of elegance – they speak for themselves…
I’ve picked out a few of my favorites from her Spring collection, but head over to her website for lots more options.

Normally when you think of custom-made wedding dresses that feature details like cascades of ruffles, enormous flowers, and pockets, you probably figure you’re going to have to drop a boatload of cash. But, Erin from Peppermint Pretty has done the unthinkable – she’s created a collection of wedding dresses that are fresh, modern, customized to your measurements and very affordable (we’re talking $1000 or less).
And while the dresses have a vintage feel, there is nothing kitschy about them. Rather they feel like a one-of-a-kind find that is elegant with a touch of whimsy and totally figure flattering.
