Lauren and Tony’s Eco-Friendly Rustic Wedding by Jenna Walker Photography

Lauren and Tony’s Eco-Friendly Rustic Wedding by Jenna Walker Photography

Happy Tuesday! Here is a little flashback to an awesome autumn wedding we featured several months ago by Jenna Walker Photography!

It wasn’t too long ago that we featured a mountain wedding, but when Lauren and Tony’s wedding by Jenna Walker Photography came across my desk I knew that I had to share it.  Whereas Katie and Nick’s wedding was all about classic detailing, Lauren and Tony’s has a sense of rustic elegance that perfectly fits the wide-open spaces of their venue. (Full editorial disclosure: An owner of Devil’s Thumb Ranch is an investor in mywedding.com).

From Lauren’s lovingly worn cowboy boots, to their sunflower centerpieces in wooden boxes, to their jaunt down a country road, their details give a nod to their Western locale while still staying true to their wedding’s overall elegance. And just by virtue of having their wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch the couple’s wedding was very eco-friendly (the venue features geothermal heat, a water sand filtration system and organic food) but they took it one step further using organic flowers and plants that could be reused.

  7. Wow! This wedding is absolutely gorgeous! I love the nature inspired decor. I’m trying to create a similar look but I’m thinking of using these vases http://su.pr/ARRSRi instead of wooden boxes! What do the Timbuktu and locations represent?
