My husband and I were watching a cooking show the other night and they kept going on about how kale was this season’s “It” vegetable, which I thought was hilarious until Chris very helpfully pointed out that I’ve been going on about how pies are this season’s must-have wedding dessert. Ahem. Totally, completely different scenarios if you ask me.
The best thing about pies (outside of how they look and, okay, taste) is their versatility. You can do up a pie bar and feature traditional pies, pies on a stick, throw in some bars, and a bunch of little ones in jars and they all work seamlessly together. Plus, they give your event a homemade feel that everyone can relate to…

I wanted wedding pies for my wedding – but I compromised for some yummy cake instead. But you can’t beat a delicious pie!
We are looking in to have a dessert table at our wedding. The majority of it would be made up of pies. I am really excited about the table! Thanks for the great visuals.
Yummm these look amazing!! Who wouldn’t want to have pie at a wedding!? If you are not willing to give up wedding cake for a pie this could be a good rehearsal dinner idea as well! Thanks for sharing!

I am all about fun, what is more fun then pie!! I love these dessert tables, I have done a few for weddings, birthday parties and showers, they really are a part of the decor….I love this blog by the way!!
