It doesn’t take long for people planning their wedding to realize that not all brides are the same. For some, having a “dark” wedding means candlelight and eggplant-colored bridesmaid dresses. For others, it is a wedding cake complete with fondant skulls and black frosting. For those brides that embrace their “dark side” and want a wedding that gives homage to the things that go bump in the night, here is a collection of cakes sure to inspire you.

Thanks for this spread! Our wedding is *not* going to be overly sweet! After seeing this spread, I did some googe-ling and found this site, with some good options, if anyone else is looking! https://www.graygoose.com/search?q=dead+wedding
Well said…not all the brides are same…but these designs are awesome.
For couples that are planning a Halloween themed wedding, these cakes are great. One could have jack-o-lanterns as table centerpieces and put bowls of candy of the table and have your guests alternate and go trick-or-treating to each table which is a great way for guests to interact with each other. You may even ask the wait staff at the reception hall to walk like mummies or jump out and scare people throughout your wedding:)
