  2. I absolutely love the open heart cuff bracelet! You can dress it up for a formal occasion or pair it with an embellished dress for a night out. (And it matched my engagement ring!)

  3. I absolutely love the classic Akoya cultured pearls. Pearls are so traditional, classic, and stunning. My boyfriend just proposed, and we are planning a fall wedding next year. I know that these Akoya pearls will be what I wear around my neck on my favorite day ever!

  7. It’s very difficult to choose one piece from Blue Nile. If I could choose anything from the site for myself I would choose the grey freshwater cultured pearl ring. Pearl is my birthstone and when my grandmother passed away she left me her collection of pearl jewelry. It would be nice to have something on my hand to remind me of her and to finish the set. I think it would match perfectly.

As for the earrings, I would love to win them for my bridesmaids as my fiance and I are having a garden wedding with vintage touches. The class, style and sophistication of the earrings would match the event perfectly. Plus, it would be nice to show my bridesmaids how much I really appreciate them.

  8. There are too many beautifully crafted things on there to pick one, but for my wedding I would say the oval ruby and pavé diamond pendant. The delicate pink hue coupled with the stunning diamonds would not only look amazing on, but be a perfect fit with the mix of strong and soft pink hues I am using in my wedding! Ah a girl can dream..so beautiful!

  9. Out of 511 different exquisite earring choices, the Opal and Micropavé Diamond Earrings stood out the most to me! These earrings would compliment my beautiful cousins who are serving as my bridesmaids, and, the opals fit my color inspiration, “bubbles”, perfectly with their iridescent shine! They are a perfect mix of trendy and classic!

Jennifer Brokaw on September 8, 2011 at 8:52 am
  10. I LOVE the Sapphire and Micropave Diamond pendant (http://www.bluenile.com/sapphire-diamond-pendant_19562) Would be a perfect “something blue” :)

These earrings would be perfect for my wedding in the botanical gardens in Green Bay … perfect fit with the floral theme.

  11. i love the round and emerald cut diamond drop earrings! To be honest there isn’t anything on that website that i’m not in love with! All of their stuff is beautiful!! After all Diamonds ARE a girls BEST FRIEND!!

  12. Besides these earrings, my favorite Blue Nile item is the Freshwater Cultured Pearl and Sparkle Bead Cuff Bracelet. My wedding dress has an empire waistline detailed with rhinestones and pearls, so I think the pairing of the pearl bracelet with the sparkly chandelier earrings will complement my halter-style gown nicely.
I also think the leaf design of the earrings would be a nice element to incorporate into the wedding, to echo our decor. We are getting married in the atrium of a hotel that contains a variety of large plants. We’re hobby gardeners, and plan to have fresh, potted herbs as our centerpieces at the reception in lieu of flowers. We’ll also be sending our guests home with homemade fruit jam as favors. So I like the idea of the earrings tying into the whole plant-life theme!

  14. I am loving this sapphire pendant, especially the little diamond X above the gemstone! http://www.bluenile.com/sapphire-pendant_11157

    It’s my birthstone, too!

  15. My favorite piece right now is the new Black Freshwater Cultured Pearl Ring in Sterling Silver. I love the simplicity of the setting and who doesn’t think of pirates when you see a Black Pearl!? Beautiful.

  16. I love the bracelet.
    http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-bracelet-white-gold_3449
I haven’t decided on a bracelet yet for my wedding and this is something that is just enough. Classy and elegant with a little sprakle. Love it!

  17. I absolutely adore the Opal drop earrings. I am seriously considering the look for my bridesmaids! We have planned a beautiful February “Winter Wonderland” wedding. The opal would be a stunning addition against their white and winter blue dresses. Beautiful!

Jillian on September 8, 2011 at 9:52 am
  18. I have always loved Blue Nile’s jewelry, but my favorite piece is the Starlight Diamond Ring. I love how its not over-the-top “blingy”, and the diamonds are scattered to make the ring unique. It’s just as beautiful as the Tiffany Etoile bands, but a bit more friendly to a “recent college grad who just purchased a house”s wallet. :) I really wanted it as my wedding band, but it just didn’t match my marquise solitaire engagement ring, so I’m hoping to receive it as an anniversary gift one year.

  19. Blue Nile has amazing jewelry it’s hard to pick a favorite, but I would have to go with the Serpentine Bracelet in Silver. I love how beautiful it is but how it also has strength and almost an industrial feeling to it. It reminds me of the watch band of my grandfather’s watch. I am getting married in a barn in Maine and the whole event will have a country / 1950′s feel to it. This piece of jewelry would fit right in! I think the bracelet is a brilliant accessory that I have a feeling might be added to my wedding day accessories. Love. It!

  20. The Oval Freshwater Cultured Pearl Bracelet
with Murano Glass Heart is gorgeous! It would be a beautiful piece to wear on my wedding day. :)

  21. Pearls are my new obsession and I found the perfect necklace for my Justin Alexander gown… the Freshwater Cultured Pearl Woven Necklace. It even has white gold to match my engagement ring!!!

  22. I love the Faceted Bead Earrings in Sterling Silver! They are very pretty!

Chelsea on September 8, 2011 at 9:59 am
  23. I’d have to say the emerald and diamond set in platinum is my favorite. It is very simple, but extremely beautiful.

Marissa on September 8, 2011 at 10:00 am
  24. My daughter was born in September so I got a sapphire ring that I wore for years and then gave to her on her 18th birthday. My niece was born three years ago, also in September, so I need to get a new sapphire ring that I can pass down to her. I am thinking about the Sapphire and Diamond Ring in 18k White Gold (http://www.bluenile.com/sapphire-diamond-ring-white-gold_5603).

Sue on September 8, 2011 at 10:00 am
  25. To wear the Round and Emerald Cut Drop Diamond Earrings on my wedding day would make me feel like a movie star! I’m getting married in a theatre built in the 1940′s and going with an “old Hollywood” theme. These sparkling beauties would be my piece de resistance!

Valerie Strickland on September 8, 2011 at 10:09 am
  26. I love the simplicity of the heart diamond pendant in platinum! Just beautiful!

Natalie Crawford on September 8, 2011 at 10:22 am
  27. The grooms colors are light blue while the brides colors are violet. The bridal party will all wear the Gemstone Drop Earrings with Sterling Silver. A wonderful combination of both colors that show two different colors go great together.

  28. ok well my engagement ring is from there so I’d have to say that is my favorite item!

It’s the round cut solitaire, 18 karat white gold :)

  29. I love the Diamond and gemstone stackable rings. I can get everyone birthstones in my family that has passed on and is not with me today! I would wear them on my wedding day so they could be with me on my day, October 22, 2011!!

  31. You know you’ve got expensive taste when the one pair you think will fit with your wedding perfectly is the Tahitian Pearl and Diamond Drop Earrings in 18k White Gold – only a small $5800 a pair! All of the designs and creations of blue nile are stunning, any would suit, really!

Ella on September 8, 2011 at 4:01 pm
  32. Since my engagement ring is a ruby with two diamonds, I chose the Ruby and Diamond Pendant
in 18k White Gold (8x6mm). It would go perfectly with my red wedding dress. The groom, groomsmen and bridesmaids will be in black. Red (ruby) and black on a beautiful summer day! The same necklace for the bridesmaids would be a great accent.

Cindy on September 10, 2011 at 12:52 am

  37. The Fresh Water Cultured Pearl Ribbon Earrings are absolutely gorgeous! I think they will not only look perfect with the nice updo I’m planning to rock on the d-day, but will be perfect for date nights with my hubby! Ive always had a soft spot for pearls, so these earrings will go with anything I have on.

  40. So hard to decide. I’ve been looking at Blue Nile for awhile now (ok…confession long before I was engaged…and maybe even sent my now fiance some hints from Blue Nile…and left ring pics open on my laptop…) I love the Toursade Bracelet. It is perfect for everyday. I love that it could be dressed up or dressed down and would match everything.

  41. I know I’m supposed to pick one of my favorites, but that was impossible so I chose two. I really loved the new, Teardrop Diamond Earrings as well as the Lace Bib Necklace. My wedding will be in October of 2012.

The necklace reminds me of a tiara and since I plan to be a princess for that day it really grabbed my attention.

The earrings are already on back-order so I see I’m not the only person who thinks they’re gorgeous. I will be having a peacock themed wedding and these earrings make me think of the center of the peacock feather. They are elegant with just the right touch of detail to make them exquisite.

I haven’t picked out my dress yet, but I know it will be strapless and I think the earrings and necklace would be fabulous with whatever dress I choose.

I would love to be able to give such a wonderful gift to my bridesmaids; especially since they will be putting so much time and effort into making my day perfect as there will be a lot of DIY projects. This would be such a grand way to show my gratitude.
