I’ve gotta get it out on the table – I have a very soft spot in my heart for a tea-length wedding dress. They’re full of personality, super-flattering and the way they spin! I can tell you from experience that if you were ever a little girl who tested a dress’ “spin factor” before committing to wearing it, a vintage, tea-length gown is the way to go.
And, no one is rocking the look harder than London designer, Candy Anthony. Their new collection is full of their signature ’50s- and ’60s-inspired dresses that feel, rather than costume-y, totally British and cool (I think it has something to do with the oversized veils…). And while they have a distinctly retro feel, all of the dresses are original designs made right in the UK.
If you’re not sure how it would translate to your wedding day, head over to their site and check out their client gallery. They have photos of brides wearing their designs at everywhere from beach weddings to black tie affairs at country estates.
