Best known as a Parisienne evening dress designer, Ugo Zaldi has a line poised to hit the United States (it’s already available throughout Europe) that gives the cocktail dress and evening gown new life in the form of gorgeous wedding dresses.
Featuring one of this year’s big trends – soft draping – the wedding dresses also have enough structure to be flattering rather than boxy. And the details! Each dress has a bit of flair – feathers, ruffles, bows – that somehow manages to be sophisticated yet dramatic. And while you can feel the cocktail dress influence on some of the dresses (which would be perfect for a kicky reception), some of the dresses feel distinctly destination wedding-ish with flowing hemlines and empire waists.
I’ve included a few of my favorites below but head over to their site to see the full collection.
