Is it just me or does the idea of a destination wedding in Hawaii seem extra appealing now that it’s officially winter? The sun, the beach, and, okay, the wedding dress… So, Sayaka and Mack’s wedding in Hawaii (photographed by David Murphey of Perfekt Photo) seems like just the thing for this chilly morning.

The couple, originally from NYC, met an intimate group of guests (some from as far away as Japan!) at the Royal Hawaiian in Honolulu; they married in an afternoon ceremony on the Ocean Lawn (with stellar views of the ocean) and followed it up with an intimate dinner on the terrace of the largest suite at the resort (the Kamehameha Suite).

And while the hotel is a gorgeous back drop, it can’t hold a candle to this couple. Sayaka looks picture perfect in her heavenly champagne Romona Keveza gown while Mack looks a bit like a tuxedo model, wouldn’t you say? Even better, though, then their dress is the way this couple looks at each other…
