Happy Friday! To kick off the weekend how about a tour of Nashville’s hot spots, courtesy of Leah and Eric’s engagement session? I haven’t been but this session has convinced me I need to go!

The idea for the session stemmed from the couple deciding they wanted to have a guest book at their wedding of Nashville’s landmarks. Rather than just heading out and buying a generic version from the book store, they (along their photographers, husband and wife team Chris and Adrienne Scott) went ahead and created their own.

The result is an intimate look at a city they obviously adore. We get a glimpse into the diversity of Centennial Park (it features both the Parthenon and those gorgeous willow trees),  a look at the nearby historic downtown area of Franklin’s Main Street, as well as photos by the Country Music Hall of Fame, the old site of the Grand Ole Opry and the Nashville Symphony. Like I said, road trip!

I love too that they changed up their outfits – numerous times! – to match the settings. Such a fantastic idea for a very personal guest book…
