If you are a wedding maniac like me, you are probably searching high and low for those wedding ideas that will help set your wedding apart. No matter what colors, venue, or dress you choose, the only way to make your wedding memorable is to create an experience that your guests will remember. So, I have an idea that is really going to knock your Louboutin’s off…pull out a big Indian style surprise at the rehearsal dinner.
Traditionally, rehearsal dinners were hosted the night before the ceremony by the groom’s family and after the wedding party had a chance to practice the walk through of the wedding day. It would be a dinner party with some toasts, a few roasts, and definitely loads of bubbly. The modern approach to rehearsal dinners is to invite everyone and have a relaxed welcome dinner in a fabulous location. Well, with Brad & Angie and Katy & Russell, jetting off to India to say “I do”, having an Indian-themed welcome party is an easy way to bring a little Hollywood flare to your wedding weekend.
All it takes is a few simple steps. Grab a couple henna artists, an Indian caterer, a gorgeous sunset, a colorful tent, and boom, you are done! This Henna Party designed by the premier Southern California Indian wedding planners, Exquisite Events, is the perfect inspiration for an Indian-themed welcome party.

It’s easy, breezy way to make sure that your friends are mixin’ & minglin’ with his friends. It’s guaranteed to be a big crowd pleaser and the ladies will be chatting about the henna on their hands the next night!
