“I couldn’t believe it, but now I’m pretty excited” says Katie Shaw, the winner of our “Win Something Blue’ contest! mywedding.com partnered up with Blue Nile to give the winner a beautiful pair of earrings worth $1,025. These dramatic earrings feature a pear-shaped deep blue sapphire hanging gracefully from a brilliant round diamond (1/5 ct tw) on an 18k white gold post with a push back. You can see them here.

Congratulations on winning the earrings, Katie! Soon to be Mrs. Katie Jennings, she and her fiancé, Steve, are getting married on December 8, 2007 in Texas!     • table names..
      hi there, we get married in prague in january 2008 and we still have a few things to think about including table names. its seems that lots of people dont use the numbers anymore as there are so many other ideas out there, so i thought i would start racking my brain for ideas, ie places we have been, H2B fav footy teams, names of people in family, etc etc. then a lightbulb flickered.....and suddenly i was thinking about tv shows i miss back home, ie friends, Ab Fab, little britain, monty python and the rest.....and thought about all the funny quotes said from characteurs on the shows. so that was it, all our 12 tables will be named after a favourite show with a quote from it, and we may even add small trivia to win a bottle of bubbly.....
      this might not be everyones cup of tea but its certainly different and will hopefully break the ice for friends and family that dont know each other so well. x
