The woman’s first name/initial should be first, as the man’s name/initial should never be separated from his last name/initial.
When to Monogram
Using a married monogram on your wedding invitations isn’t considered proper. However, the monogram theme can still be represented on the invitation by using the first initial of the brides and grooms name and joining them with an ampersand. After the ceremony, the married monogram can be acceptably stamped anywhere!
