The One Love Campaign launched on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in San Francisco, the City of Pride, in celebration of the recent California Same Sex Marriage ruling. This movement reinforces the city’s status as the home for spirited service, prosperity and transformation, and honors the ruling as a symbol of unification and inspiration for all couples that wish to publicly claim their devotion. The Campaign will showcase select high profile Bay Area businesses who offer a full range of luxury services for relationships, weddings, events and honeymoons for all couples tying the knot. Since the May 2008 California same sex marriage ruling, gay couples have been flocking to the “City by the Bay” to say their vows as San Francisco maintains it’s foundation in activism for gay rights. In support of The One Love Campaign, all select profiled businesses will donate a percentage of their One Love sales to designated San Francisco LGBT organizations.

Diana Bianchini and I established The One Love Campaign out of our passion for connection and justice that transcends opinion, sexual orientation and other discriminatory affiliations. The mission of the One Love Campaign is to illuminate and activate the massive power of the human heart. Anchored in the possibility of unconditional love, this grass roots effort provides an opportunity for a new world to emerge from the arising of conscious marriages, community awareness and universal vows of integrity. One Love’s purpose will potentially redefine the meaning of marriage for all couples, gay or straight, as a necessary step in resurrecting family values, compassion and a reverence for humanity. We believe this launch is the beginning of a cultural movement, and expect to draw national awareness and garner significant interest from other progressive organizations with rapid expansion as the good word spreads. The website will serve as a beacon of information and a resource for all different types of relationship & wedding services in a network that recognizes all marriages as One Love.

The One Love Campaign stands for more than fabulous weddings. We believe in evolutionary marriages that are built to last, and provide the necessary resources for all couples to intentionally solidify the meaning of their partnership for the wedding day and way beyond. Marriage is a privilege that is for the benefit of each special couple, but also for the world at large. What the world needs now is One Love.
