- Even though it seems like we've got a ton of time to plan the wedding, there's so much to do! So, to keep myself from getting overwhelmed, I'm trying to take on one task or two tasks per week until everything gets done. This week's projects? Get our wedding party settled and find a photographer!

- Stress is counter productive. If something should go awry, chances are that the thing that will stick in the guests' minds is not what went wrong, but how the bride handled it.

- When I look at planning my wedding as a whole, I get overwhelmed. In order to really see what I have to do, I make lists and the dates by which they need to be done. When people offer to help with certain areas, I take them up on that because it helps relieve a lot of negative stress. Walking and having "me" time has helped me organize my thoughts as well as think about nothing at all. This is the best time of my life and I don't want to ruin it.

- I've got a little more than a year left and I'm starting work on my Thesis for my Masters program, so I have plenty of time and other things to distract me. Plus I already ordered my dress and we have a contract with our location!

- I was just recently engaged to my Fiance and his ideas for engagement party and wedding are completly different than mine. I got tired of arguing to get what I want and let him decide on what he wants. I gave him full responsibilty to take care of all the arrangements and I will just relax and pray that everything turns out great.

- Well my fiancee is in the army and is getting ready to deploy to Iraq, so actually all of the wedding craziness is helping me stay calm. Instead of having to just look forward to spending 12 months without him, I can focus on planning the best wedding he could ever dream of as a welcome home present for him. Our whole relationship has been long distance and after the wedding I will move halfway across the country to be with him, so I see the wedding as the final step towards getting to be together all the time!

- I'm taking it day by day and enjoying the whole experience. I'm going to do this ONCE in my lifetime, might as well enjoy the ups, downs AND everything in between. Icluding my wedding party and partner in everything, helps me see things through many eyes. I'm having fun stressing!!!

- It's hard to stay calm - especially when the wedding countdown goes lower and lower. But when I feel exasperated, I go to the gym and go on a nice long run. And I think about all the places I want to visit with my new husband"

- I am getting married in March so we still have lots of time. We decided early that we would handle one thing every month. This month is the limo's (Yuck!). We also try to spend one afternoon each week doing something fun together to remember why we are getting married in the first place!

- Nothing is better for relieving stress, clearing your head, and organizing your thoughts than running. Plus, it gets me in shape for the big day! Two birds, one stone!

- I try to be a very organized person. So I have wedding folders, and wedding lists, and wedding spreadsheets. And I have it all broke down week by week. Still get stressed, but when that happens I just cuddle up with my honey and spend time together relaxing.

- I have my future husband planning with me, he shares ideas and he's incharge with meeting the suppliers while i do research online. That's keeping us organized.

- Planning ahead of time would make you organized. Why? because if something goes wrong you still have time to fix it. We also do have our checklist so we can track our milestones during our wedding preps.

- I am keeping organized with Google Docs, and am taking weekly dance lessons with my fiance which helps us relax and provides a fun break from all the wedding planning! :)

- I've just VERY recently gotten engaged but I have already gotten a little overwhelmed with everything that I know I have to do to make my day special. I am just committed to not being afraid to ask for help. I've got a great team of people that really care about my fiance and I as well as people that want the best for our wedding memories. I think that with people around that are able to help carry some of the planning load and keep me sane through the process it will help me to remain calm, cool and collected.

- I come to an understanding with wedding planning. I don't see as a job, but a fun way to plan a party! And by doing this, my stress is slowly fading away.

- by staying in a bubble that no one can pop everyone has there own opions of we should have this and that dont do this the dresses are ugly everyone has an opioin of how it should be

- We are staying cool and calm by attending other people's weddings and getting a firm idea of what we want and need for our day. This is helping us to be certain on the colors and decor. My fiancee has changed the colors several times but it is still early enough that nothing has been set in stone yet.

- I have been staying calm by staying so busy that I cannot worry about the little details. Besides the daily job, I am planning my wedding, attending class for my MBA, and making time for family. The key is to knock out the major things first- church and hall. After that the other things come together! It is also very important to keep an open mind. A lot of times the opinions of others are very overwhelming BUT sometimes those ideas are great!

- There are so many details to consider when planning a wedding. I really wanted something different when it came to my jewelry, and I found a great website: www.bethegallery.com that offered pieces I had never seen before.
