Remember being a kid and sticking to the rule that red was for girls and blue was for boys? Well, that must explain why together they make such a harmonious pair for a wedding color theme.
Raspberry and teal (that's what we adults call red and blue) compliment each other so beautifully! This color palette is an inviting choice for late summer weddings.
As with any bold and vibrant color choice, you don't want to "overdo" it. Be subtle with the way you use it. The boutonniere, cake, and thank-you cards are possibly the more obvious places to use your colors. But, the feather headband, decorative pillows and drink cans are additional spots where color could be used and not take away the elegance and sophistication of your day.
So, have fun with this raspberry and teal theme. Get creative, break the rules!
