  • Our wedding was supposed to be this August. I had an African theme with African attire for the bridesmaids made in Africa late last year while i was visiting. The men were going to wear similar colors but ordering was going to be from some of the bridal stores here in the US. In addition I actually got African souvenirs too for the party favors and made the party favor holders by a sewing machine.
    
    After planning almost everything including engraving the rings with the dates and names, ordering my wedding dress, making our own invitation cards to save some money and informing most of my immediate family, the wedding plans came to a halt after my fiance lost his job.
    
    I just wanted to have a simple but elegant wedding. We are hopping that things will get better next year, it will have been two years of planning our wedding.

  • Shoot, I'm just hoping/wishing to have a wedding. I am currently serving a tour in Iraq and we are/were supposed to get married in Montana when I get back to the states. We are both stationed in Hawaii right now. I will be going back there and PCSing as soon as I get back. He is PCSing to Oklahoma in a couple of weeks and just found out he will most likely be deploying before I get back from mine. The only way we will be stationed together without waiting a couple of years is if we get married somehow before he leaves or if his deployment is cancelled and even if that happens we may be apart for the next year. Right now i'm just taking it Day by Day, praying, and still trying to plan a wedding over here.

  • me and my boyfriend are planning our wedding and hoping to get married next year 2010. we're still deciding on the date yet and because i have been on temporary layoff since june till november, i currently have a part time job which kind of helps a little. money is really tight for us especially with the economy so bad that it's gonna be hard for us because we want a big wedding and our reception at the marriott. we want our ceremony to be on the beach. my theme is baby blue which my brides maids dress's are gonna be and im wearing white. we'd like our wedding to be simple yet elegant and something different from most weddings that will be memorable for us and our guests. i'm hoping we'll be able to have this wedding that i'v been dreaming of.

  • My first wedding wish is to have an engagement party in October 2009. My wedding is scheduled for October 2010. My second wish is to have my wedding at a zoo, pier, or aquarium. Maybe it is the science teacher in me. My third wedding wish is to have a pastry chef from the Food Network Channel bake my wedding cake.

  • I would like to be able to afford a dream wedding around Barry Texas. Nice venue. Beautiful cake. I'm having it in my backyard since it's what we can afford. I'm making everything, even the cake. We are getting married Oct. 24, 2009. My parents are no longer around, so this is up to us to pull together. Help.
