Wedding Gift Ideas for the Couple who has Everything or Wants Nothing.

Photography by Amorology Weddings

What to get? What to get?! Some couples don't even do registries anymore, while others register for some outrageously break-the-bank items. If you are undecided as to what to buy the couple, here are some ideas that can help your hunt!

Entertainment & Experiences

  • Movie or game rental subscriptions
  • Event tickets
  • Extreme-Sport adventure certificates
  • Cooking class certificates
  • Gym memberships

...Of the month subscriptions

  • Wine or beer
  • Dessert - Ice Cream, Cakes, Pies
  • Entrees - Breakfasts, Lunches or Dinners
  • Chocolate

Honeymoon Contributions

  • Pay for a luxury service at their hotel - Breakfast in bed, spa service, in-room movie, or late night room service of champagne and dessert
  • Certificate to a restaurant at the location of honeymoon
  • Car rental
  • Monetary donation

Just between you...

  • Reprint an 'older' photo of the couple that was taken by you and canvas print it
  • This may require some preparation, but ask the bride and groom to share their vows with you..have a calligrapher write them out, then frame it for them. Or re-type them using a pretty font and frame that.
  • Recall a time when you were at their home and something was needed, but they didn't have it or couldn't find it; like a party sized salad bowl.
  • If you know they secretly enjoy reading love stories to each other. Get them a collection of romantic novels - and even movies that match.
  • Go for items you know they would like, but would never buy for themselves.

If you are feeling a little tight on the budget, get creative.

  • Purchase an inexpensive, yet beautiful bowl maybe from a second-hand store, or an antique store, or a flee market and fill it with fruit or flowers. There are some treasure finds at those places!
  • If you've got any artistic skills, photography, graphic design, pottery, painting...create a custom piece for their home. Make sure it fits their style and current decor. But, this is totally a personal and pocket-friendly alternative.
  • create a coupon book that offers life's sweetest little things to the couple every month for a year - Bring them a dessert one month, liven up their coffee table with a bouquet of flowers the next month, etc.

These ideas can easily be modified to suit any newlywed couple! Have fun!!
