Even in a digital age, there is still something to be said for good old-fashioned printing presses. I recently found Bella Figura and haven’t been able to stop raving since! The owners of Bella Figura, Harold Kyle and Debbie Urbanski, and their team of super-talented designers capture all the magic of letterpress in their wedding invitation collections.
Letterpress often has a reputation for not being as environmentally friendly as other options. However, Bella Figura has an entire category dedicated to showing their customers all of their green business practices, including participation in 1% for the Planet, using wind power, printing sustainably, and "zeroing out" their company’s carbon footprint by planting trees via the Go Zero Program.
Bella Figura has a website that sets them apart from many other invitation sites. Not only do they have beautiful images of all of their invitations, but they also take special care to highlight the details of their work. They offer an in-depth explanation of the letterpress process, as well as designer bios and information on the various aesthetics that influence them. Bella Figura’s group of designers come from such a diverse background and it is reflected in their invitations. If the images above inspire you, be sure to check out the rest of their wedding collection!
