Perhaps more than any time since Jackie O, pearls are making a comeback! No longer your grandmother’s necklace that you wear solely as your "something old," pearls make a refined and fashionable statement at your wedding. Blame it on the popularity of Mad Men, but the rise of the "demurely sexy" look of pearls goes perfectly with red lipstick, without making either seem gaudy.

Particularly with winter around the corner, pearl-encrusted jackets or wraps are perfect for the trek from the ceremony to the reception. If you have a more elaborate gown, go simple with pearl earrings or a single strand necklace. In terms of décor, dot your bouquets with pearl buttons, or drip long strands from tall centerpieces.

How are you incorporating pearls into your wedding? Give us your feedback!
