Ah...pictures! This section will help me keep track of what I like. Thank goodness for Sheila...my florist in Quincy (Genteman) who will help me decide! :)

OK...so our appointment on 1/17 went well. Instead of pink we are going with red...the girls looked wonderful in their dresses!
Jessica (my sister) matron of honor
Amber (my niece) bridesmaid
Hannah (my niece) flower girl
First and foremost, I must give credit to Sheila at Genteman Florists in Quincy, IL. What a job and she has been terrific!
I do love lilies...the big the better. And the oriental ones, which have not lost their beautiful scent (unlike asiatic lilies). I have discovered the Pink Stargazer and White Casablanca are my most favorite, but I love them all!
We will be using a combination of red and white flowers for our wedding: lilies, roses, spray roses, carnations, tulips, gerber daisies, white lilac, and stephanotis. They will be beautiful.
I can not express how grateful Chris and I are that Sheila and Mark were inolved in our wedding! The flowers and decorations were AMAZING and just what I had imagined. Plus these two are wonderful people and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who needs flowers, candles, decorations or similar services in the Canton/Quincy area.
Thank you!
No children yet, but in addition to our plants and fish, we have Selena (gray short hair kitty, about 6 years old, that Papa likes to call "Big Gray"); Bella Mia (Brindle colored shih tzu, a little over 2 years born 10/24/06); and our newest member, Maximus (a black shih tzu with white on his two front paws and chin and belly, born 9/24/08...that makes him about 20 weeks old, he's still a baby and super cute too).
Margeret Vannaken has graciously offered to make our wedding cake.
It turned out AMAZING! It was red velvet and delicious. Plus she made Chris a chocolate STL Cardinals groom's cake.
P.S. We just found out that our beloved Margaret has just been diagnosed with cancer. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!
The end of the pictures are ones that I thought I might like. I loved Margarets!
