So school has been cancelled for tomorrow, therefore no clinical at the CON! Hooray!
What a great opportunity to start cutting cardstock and printed paper for the invitations, dont'cha think?!?!
With that said, in recent weeks, ad I may have mentioned in previous posts, our guestlist has grown exponentially! And with the increased guestlist comes more invitations, and with that comes loss of sanity for me!
My invitations have a number of custom cut pieces of paper, including a piece of cream vellum, layered on a thin sheet of parchment paper, which is layered on a black and cream damask printed paper and finally placed on a cream sheet of cardstock. On top of the invitation will be another small sheet of the damask print and a ribbon to add some character. So, with added numbers of invitations comes more and more custom cut pieces of paper.
So, as I said before, I used the cancelling of classes from tomorrow as an opportunity to begin the cutting process, and surprisingly got quite a bit done. Here, take a look (all of the cream cardstock and printed paper along with my trusty Cutterpede trimmer)
