Bridesmaid Dresses are Bought!
We had such a wonderful day shopping yesterday!
My mom, Megan, Tiara and I left Aurora about 9:00 on Saturday morning and headed to Springfield. We picked up Lindsey along the way and met up with Amy & Ivy in the parking lot of the first store.
Our first stop was Karl's Bridal, we went to their discount store, knowing it was be "hit or miss". So we walked in and knew very quickly that there was nothing there for us. So on we went. Our next stop was McDaniel's Bridal. I had tried on dresses there prior to finding "the one" elsewhere. We found about four dresses that were even worth looking at and Tiara tried on the first. Not a keeper. Then Lindsey tried one on that I was really excited about (it looked super cute on the hanger) but it was not "the one". So without trying on the other two dresses we left.
We decided that we really wanted a fabulous black dress and we didn't think the bridal stores were going to have what we were looking for, so we headed to the mall. My sister, Amy, really loves the store White House Black Market, and knew that they would have fashionable black dresses for us! So we went in and each girl tried on a cute black dress, but the one Megan had on caught everyone's eye, so we asked for the right size for each girl in that dress. And they looked FABULOUS! Each beautiful girl really looked spectacular in that dress, but it was only 11:00 so we left, leaving the thought in our heads that we would be back.
So we went to Dillards, Macy's and JCPenney since we'd looked on their websites beforehand and saw some dresses that might work. But, the dresses we loved online were mainly "online exclusives" so we were left with what was available in the stores, which was not too much.
Then, we headed back to White House Black Market and got the dresses! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Like the dresses in my favorite color - black. I've got a dress picked out on-line on Nordstrom's for Austin and Kira's wedding - black. Looks like you had a great day and lots of "fun" trying on dresses.
