Finally a decision on the Candlelighters dress
I finally made a decision! I never thought I would be able to say that, I have been going back and forth for months! In one of my previous posts I had a number of dresses posted as choices. Some were polka dotted, others simple, and some big and poofy. Well in the end, I chose none of them! I had been trying to decide in the last week or so whether I wanted the girls to had a dress similar in style to the Bridesmaids or more like Ivy's, or even a dress all of their own. Well in the end I decided I wanted them in a similar style but an alternating color as Ivy's. This is what I planned for Ivy (minus the big obnoxious flower)
So....the search was one. I needed a black dress with a white sash with pick-ups for my beautiful Candlelighters. But this proved to be harder than I had first imagined. It seemed like every dress with pickups came in every color under the rainbow....except black. And then when I would find one that had pickups, they weren't "right" I dont know how else to explain those dresses except that way.
Well finally I'm browsing Ebay, and I would be nervous about ordering dresses as important as these from a site like that, but a lot of girls on the Facebook application Weddingbook have posted forums in the past and usually they are really happy with their decision. So,a dress seller on ebay not only had a dress perfect for Ivy but a black one with pickups for Elitza and Ashton! Only problem was that the dress came with a black sash, but after talking with the seller I was told that she would replace the black sash with a white one before shipping! I am ecstatic.
