Hello invited guests. I would like to introduce to you the people that have had a great impacted on our lives and have always been there for us. Whatever you do don't ask for any crazy stories from any of these people. They will not tell you the truth. :)
Gracy's Bridal Party:
The people that I have chosen to stand by my side are the sweetest kindest people I have ever met. After asking these wonderful women to be by my side on my wedding day, I didn't realize that they were all either a cheerleader or a ballerina while growing up. It's no wonder why we get along so well. They all mean the world to me and I'm very happy for them to join Brennan and I on our special day.
Brennan's Party People:
Accompanying me in my wedding journey are five people that have helped me through it all. They've been with me through the toughest, craziest and most awesome times of my life. I probably would not be standing here today if it wasn't for some of their help and sometimes interventions. I am proud to introduce you to:
Christina is my only sibling and I love her so much! She has always been there for me through the tough times and the most happiest of times. Christina helped pick out my soulmate...she never liked any guy I dated except for Brennan. She told me that Brennan makes me a better person and it's then that I realized she was right! Since Christina was born, I longed for the moment to ask her to be my maid of honor and I am honored that she will stand by my side as I start a new chapter in my life.
I met Geary at the same time that I met Brennan, in class at the Academy of Art University. We became close friends after the first semester. When I had no one to talk to or do homework with Geary was always there. Geary is like the brother I never had and I am very lucky to have him be apart of my life. We had many talks about life, love as well as the future and my wedding day would not be the same without him standing with me. Geary not only was a great friend to me but to Brennan as well. He is an all around good hearted person that deserves the best. When in despair, hug this bear.
Maria and her husband Tom, were the first couple that Brennan and I met in our first Connecticut apartment. Maria has been a very dear friend to me and our friendship has grown in the past 3 years. She is the sweetest and most kindest person that you will meet. She always makes you feel like she has known you forever and I'm so happy that she will be standing with me on my wedding day. Maria is also the best optometrist I have ever been too!
Pixel helped introduce Tammy and I one day when he made friends with her puppy Chip, just right outside our building in CT. I learned her dogs name right away and it only took four months to learn hers, lol. After introducing our significant others, there have been many BBQ's and fun social events. Brennan and I have so much fun with Tammy and Danny, that our big day would not be the same without them.
Ladies, you won't have a problem looking for a dance partner with this guy around.
Russ and I met on the first day of college at Seattle University. While there he taught me about the finer things in life, such as what color argyle socks go with a pink shirt and what to do when you wake up on your front porch from a night of partying (and can't remember anything). Russ has been through the good, the bad and the ugly with me. Every time I go home to Hawaii, he's one of the first people I call when I get there and one of the last to see me leave.
Emily and I met in high school and have remained friends ever since. She along with Russ are my partners in crime when it comes to partying. There isn't a Friday or Saturday night when I'm back in Hawaii when we're not tearing up a dance floor or shopping our problems away. Emily is always the first person I call when I need some advice and she's never failed to deliver. I'm very fortunate to have her as a friend and I know the party wouldn't be the same without her.
We met Royson one day in the basement of our dorm at Seattle University, (I'll let him tell you the story of what he was doing down there) and he has been a constant source of laughter and friendship ever since. There wasn't a day that went by when we weren't laughing with him, at him or because of him. Without him our days in Seattle would have been as grey as the sky above and I couldn't think of celebrating this event without him.
I met Joel the same day I met Russ and Clarence (they all went to the same high school together) and we have been friends ever since. In college you would usually find us in his room playing with balisongs, nunchaku or getting ready for eskrima practice. Ever time I go home, I know I can count on Joel to wrangle up the troops for a night out and to always have the best stories the morning after.
Clarence is defiantly the voice of reason and the spokesperson for this group. Without him we would have never been bestowed our nickname "The Ratpack" (ask him to tell you the story). Clarence was my roommate for a number of years at Seattle University and has lived through it all. Weather it be in Japan, Hawaii or Seattle, Clarence always has a good story to tell.
