"Pinagtibay ng Holcim!"
Not one of our initial choices because based on the pics we saw, we thought it was a big church (I stand below 5 feet, so baka mamaya, bukas na yung pinto at here comes the bride na, hindi pa ko kita ni Bryan! hehe). We went to visit there one time we were waiting for the mall hours for a wedding fair in SM megamall, and there, we immediately inquired and super accomodating nung person in charge sa Parish office (Kathy). We booked immediately before the pencil booking expiration.
This is the only venue that has everything that we were looking for - capacity, horizontal orientation (so the stage wil be visible to those seated at the back), ample parking, near our church, aircon (a must for my siblings and Bryan's cousin!hehe)... somewhat pricey considering that we still have to have a separate drapes supplier... One time we were searching for a map, Bryan saw Le Pav's top view then we realized the parking lot was heart-shaped!
We're getting Queen and her team as our OTD Coordinator! She was recommended by a good friend, Albert Lim. After our first meting with her, sold!booked! ;) I'm sure JUST LIKE OURS will do great in our wedding...well they always do ;)
We didn't plan on booking our caterer during the March 2009 Wedding Expo, but Josiah's Buffet de Chocolat promo was irresistible, saktong sakto sa Chocolate & Caramel wedding theme namin! (We're getting 3 fondues by the way! Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, and Caramel...yum!!!) Pumayag pa sila papalitan ang chairs from monoblock into Sorrento chairs (make or break talaga ang chairs sa min! no no to monoblocks, haha!)
This is a W@W find. Magaganda yung nababasa naming reviews and we watched some of the videos, fantastic! Nakita pa namin ang onsite video ng classmates namin nung college! We booked him right away dahil they only accomodate 1 wedding na may onsite sa isang araw, baka maunahan, hehe..
Chris was an officemate when I was still working for DB. Kasama namin syang namamasyal masyal during weekends kung saan saan sa London and dun pa lang, we all could see his passion in photography, which is very evident sa quality ng mga shots nya. We grabbed their Free Engagement Shoot promo and we were so happy with the outcome! I liked the fact that the shots are not heavy in editing, kaya reality captured pa rin.
The second couture among many that we visited... pagbali baligtarin ko man ang mundo, sya na talaga ang gusto ko! hehe ;)
My fashionable Tabangao friends, Jake and Paul, highly recommended Jerome to make my suit. Aside from the fact that I do trust their fashion sense, Jerome's A-list clients make me very confident that he is the best for the job.
Another w@w find! A lot of good reviews about Val at the forum. Lots of beautiful brides in his website. Booked him immediately upon learning that he extended his birthday promo ;)
We were already settled that we are going to have our Photobooth, and going to the PICC fair, we were actually planning on booking Baicapture. For one thing, mas ok kausap ang mga tao sa Poof! Dami rin kaming nahaggle na freebies, plus, taga-Shell din ang owner nya. A friend of mine strongly recommends Poof for the quality of its photoprint, kaya naman, go na kami!
This is all c/o Bryan's negotiation skills! I didn't even know he was already inquiring with 15-58. Come PICC fair, after about three times of going to their booth we immediately booked them na. And in fairness, sila lang ung florist na initial reply pa lang sa email inquiry ay with matching pics na ng bouquets and flower arrangements, galing!
We're getting no less that the Cake artist herself, c/o Josiah's!

We're not only getting them for lights and sounds, we're also getting them for Drapes! Akala ko di talaga namin sila maaafford sa drapes, sila pa naman ung pinaka pulido sa lahat! Again, salamat sa haggling powers ni Bryan! Galing galing!

A wedding expo find!
This is the 2nd to the last supplier that we booked. We went to the expo purposely just to find an invite supplier. We already have the design in mind, so we just hopped among the many invites supplier to ask around their quotes. Obviously, we went to the supplier who offered the best value for money, that's JCK. Right after booking them, we immediately went to their Forbes office (in front of Sanctuario San Antonio) to finalize everything.

Composed Band was recommended by Juancho (Sensitivity Lights and Sounds). We asked around kasi for a band who can play happy/upbeat songs, versus the traditional strings for weddings (sorry but I'm no fan of mushy mushy love songs for "events" moreso for "OUR WEDDING").
Same day that we got their number, we called to inquire of their availability , their rates, and their gig skeds. While Bryan naman went to research for videos of their performance in the internet.
Along with our friends (Jeff and my housemates Pabs and Tristan), I went to "observe" them in their Thursday gig at the C-Front Bar and Resto. On that same day, we booked them after a little haggling, hehe.
