It has nearly been a year since we abandoned the North to plant our roots in
the South. Time really escaped us this past year. Because we have been getting a
plethora of e-mails inquiring about what we are doing, where we are at, and how

If anyone needs to have a reason to not go to hell, they should come down to New Orleans during the summer. It is not nearly as hot as hell has to be, but it is HOT, and no one would want to spend an eternity in this all year round. The past few days we have had storms, most likely weather moving in because of Hurricane Dolly, and tonight it is a cool 78 degrees. I cannot believe that I am saying that 78 degrees is cool. Louisiana is one of the few states that allows and supports covenant marriage. A covenant marriage is different than a traditional marriage in that one is required, whether a religious ceremony will be taking place or not, to attend pre-marital classes and in marrying under the covenant marriage license, marital counseling must be sought if the marriage finds itself in trouble, and divorce would only be allowed under the grounds of abuse, adultry, abandonment, or a lengthy separation instead...
Thirty five days and counting.... It is hard to believe that in thirty-five days I will become Amanda Mueller. (Pronounced Miller - if I do not add that, I may get a scolding from Bryce!)
