I have known Lindsay my whole life...literally, she is my older sister. Everybody used to think that we were twins. Unfortunately for me, they seem to think I am older now (must be the Florida sun). She made life pretty easy for me growing up because everybody knew if they messed with me they would have to answer to Lindsay, and nobody wanted that! She always saved my butt when trouble did manage to find me, and she always roots for Michigan State.
I met Jason freshmen year of college at MSU. We always said it would be trouble if we lived together. A few years later, I lived on a mattress in his living room in Florida where we would fight with knives, flaming brooms, and closet doors when we would come home from the bar. We were kicked out of every place thereafter. Jason and I now work together in Florida.
I have known Katharine since elementary school, where we rode the same bus, but attended different schools. We became very close in high school. We were on the cheerleading squad together and national honor society. We both attended Michigan State together where we somehow managed to stay out of trouble. She is my number one tailgate buddy! No matter where I lived, Katharine made it a point to spend her spring break flying out to see me.
I started hanging out with Rob in High School, where we bonded over our love of beer and driving around Livonia. I'd say more, and trust me there is a lot more, but Rob is currently pending review from the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
I met Christina in High School, but become really close to her in our college years. She went to Eastern Michigan, but we always took turns visiting each other. Even when my birthday fell on a Tuesday, she still drove an hour and half just to take me to PF Changs. Christina then moved to Florida where we were roommates for 2 years and had to put up with me, Brian and the two bulldogs.
I've known Steve since elementary school. We used to hang out and steal beer from my dad in the summers and laugh about poop humor. When I visit Michigan I always make sure to set some time aside to hang out with Steve. The next morning, when I wake up amongst cases of empty beer cans and a stomach full of Steak and Shake I realize that staying up until 7AM was not a great idea and that my flight home is going to be miserable.
I have known Laura forever. She would suffer through 20 hours in a car with us Flaths to join us on our family vacations. My dad would only refer to her as "Laura with the poofy hair", never just Laura. Laura and I were also on the cheerleading squad together and use to pimp her green Neon with her driving pillow. Brian thought Laura was made up for almost two years, because every time we got together Brian was out of town.
I met Leif living in Florida. He still Spring Breaks in Fort Lauderdale every year, and since he is a giant he is always good to back you up in a fight. I think he's saved my life at least once. He is also responsible for coming up with some sweet party ideas and makes one hell of a YouTube video recap of the weekend. He also gets VIP wherever he goes, even if he doesn't ask. He claims it has something to do with him starting more businesses than Trump.
I have known Erica since elementary school, where in 3rd grade we joined the cheerleading squad together. We hung out on the boat every summer, sipping twisted tea's, and she always came up to visit me at school to tailgate all day and night. We made it back from Mazatlan, Mexico only to never eat garlic or drink pacifico again! We always found a way to hang out even if it meant me flying from California and her from Michigan just to end up on vacation in Florida.
I've known Matt since elementary school. We road tripped to Florida together in highschool, and on the way back I made him drive most of the way one his own so I could sleep off the Jim Beam I was still tasting from the night before. I roomed with Matt my first year at MSU, and managed to see him all of two times. He now lives in Manhattan and works in fashion. I've had the priveledge to party with Matt in both Manhattan and Miami. He also bought me my first Playboy.
Jill and I went to elementary, middle school and High school together where we were on the cheerleading squad together. Jill is now a successful business owner that I partly contribute to letting her stay on my couch in college while she finished up Barber College. Jill took care of me when I moved to California, she took me out, always made me food and sangria. I was luckily she lived only a few blocks away. Now we get to visit in Florida when she comes down to see her Family.
I met Heath living in Florida. I lived with Heath a few years and I've had some good times with him throwing rocks at trains, throwing choke slams out to Canadians, and watching him attempt to kick a six foot tall sign. He also loves Latin chicks and Erica claims he can demo and remodel a house.
Lynnae is the older of Brian's two sisters. She got married last fall and is currently expecting her first child. Since Lynnae is only 17 months younger than Brian, she has had to put up with Brian for the longest. Not an easy feat by any means.
I met Mike living in Florida. He has a wicked Boston accent and the best luck of anyone I will ever know. Many know him as Super Mike. To prove this he once single handedly terrorized Miami like Godzilla did Japan...without legal consequences.
Lauren is the younger of Brian's two sister's. She is turning 21 just in time to legally enjoy the festivities of the wedding. Lauren loves all the same restaurants as Brian, except for Buddy's, which is just nuts. she also makes one hell of a cherry dip icecream cone.
Jayson and Erica went to elementary, middle, and High school together. Erica used to be described as the female version of Jayson and vice versa. Erica spent most of her High school weekends at the Brannon residence where they had run in with wilda beast, problems with serpentine belts and took hot laps on the lake. Brian and Jayson met in college and instantly bonded over hunting, fishing and inappropriate jokes.
Kaleigh is my adorable, outgoing, smart little god daughter. She is not shy about asking for what she wants, and always seems to get it. She is only 5 but already a dancer, cowgirl and fashionista.
Brayden is Brian's sister Lauren's 2.5 year old. He loves cars and wrestling with the 80lbs boxers, Rebel and Harley. He also likes playing outside and eating candy.
After a few deportations back to his homeland of Sweden, Jimmy may never be allowed in the United States again. However, he assures us he will be at the wedding and we hope he can make it. Brian has offered to smuggle him in through Windsor. Oh, and he's also a big star after his appearance on Sweden's Bachelorette...hahahaha seriously.
