Q: Which airport do I fly into?
A: Dealers choice. You can fly into either Seattle (SEA) or Portland (PDX). Seattle is about an hour and 20 minutes away, while Portland is about 2 and a half hours+.

Q: When are you and David going to arrive? When are you leaving?
A: We will likely be arriving no later than Thursday, July 2nd. Possibly Wednesday night. We think we're leaving on Sunday, July 5th to head to Seattle for the night and then onward to the San Juan Islands for the local rad honeymoon. Honestly though, this could all change. Stay tuned...

Q: Should I rent a car, or is there a shuttle?
A: I'm hoping to arrange a shuttle choice from the Seattle airport. I'd like for the service to offer two runs on Friday, July 3rd, and maybe one run back on Sunday. It seems the blog section of this site could offer a good space for guests to organize carpooling options. Please use the comments on the Blog entitled "Travel Arrangements and all that Jazz"

Q: What is the weather like in Ashford at this time of year?
A: I wish I could answer definitively, but as weather goes, it's a bit of a crap shoot. The odds are with us that it will be 70 degrees and sunny at the height of the afternoon, and potentially 50 degrees or colder at night. Prepare to have something warm to wear at night and bring your rain gear. It is the Pacific NW after all...See the stats here:
