It all began with a friend request on Facebook."Hey punk" were the first words that appeared on the screen, and it took off from there. From then on it seemed like every conversation we had got better and better each day! I mean, we could be doing absolutely nothing and find the most intriguing things to amuse ourselves wtih for hours at a time. The crazy part is that neither one of us had intentions of being together at the time. We met through a mutual friend that Jahaya was coming to Georgia to visit for the weekend. My boy Mickey was tellig me from the beginning how cool of a person Jahaya was and how she was always looking out for others. What he didn't tell me was that she was extremely easy on the eyes and the most appealing person I would ever meet in my life! Sure there are pictures on Facebook that tell the story, but they don't display every fine (and I mean fine) detail of this woman's beauty, from the freckles to the huge smile she had me trapped! We talked everyday until the day she got down here, and as the days got closer, I couldn't help but be excited to finally meet her. March 3, 2009 was the day she got here. I can still remember what she was wearing, if that's not weird. She was looking so good in those purple pajama pants and multicolored Nike hoody. She looked like her skin was made of milk and honey and she smelled like Bath and Body Works. As the weekend progressed, there were events that pushed us to talk and deal with personal matters together. Next thing you know, I'm on the phone with her talking about how it would be awesome if we could start dating. The crazy part is, I told her I loved her the first night we spent time together, just the two of us. I prayed about it and God answered very clearly. I knew she was the one I wanted to marry, and the fact that she moved down here to be with me showed that God sent me an angel. So to show my love and appreciation, I was able to propose in Ohio in front of her family. When I tell you that one of Jahaya's aunt's was about to beat my friend Brenton's arm off,lol, it showed how excited they were to hear the news! All in all, we have had an amazing time together. Of course things aren't perfect, but we have definitely grown closer as the days go by. I can only imagine what kind of experiences we'll have in the future. Buckle ya'lls seatbelts; it's gonna be a wild ride!
