Mel and I literally bunked together in the bunk that Mel built our senior year at Notre Dame and became buddies through Howard Hall and Camp Kesem activities and English major classes throughout college. We share a birthday and have pledged to meet each year in September in a new location to celebrate (2010: Banff!). Mel teaches 7th grade english in Boca Raton, FL and shares my passion for red wine, service/philanthropy and mustaches.
Court and I lived together in Chicago for two years, and I have been depending on her for fashion advice ever since! Court is from Green Bay, WI and was sad to see Favre move over to my Vikings, but we share a common love of Will's, cheese and exploring new neighborhoods in Chicago. Court is a guru of media buying at Spark Communications in Chicago.
Britt and I became friends at Notre Dame through Howard Hall, Camp Kesem and English major classes and lived together senior year at College Park. Last summer, Britt married everyone's favorite redhead, Timmy, and she's since been great at giving advice on married life. Britt is finishing her 4th year of Medical School and recently matched in Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center! Chicago is lucky to have her back.
Andy and I met when we were five. We were punk kids together in grade school, rugby teammates in high school, roommates in college, and co-workers today. We've had too many adventures to list here, so I'll just say that [comment removed by site administrator] and leave it at that.
Andy is disturbingly good at Dance Dance Revolution and makes a great martini (just ask Callie!). Andy and his fiance Diana are getting married in October.
Mikey and I met during our first days at Notre Dame when we were both moving into Keenan Hall. We roomed together during our senior year, perfecting our bocce skills and planning particularly creative double dates to exotic destinations around Michiana. Mikey and I share a passion for the finer things in life, including Jack Bauer, Tecmo Super Bowl, and "fixing" run down houses for "profit." He lives in Columbus with his wife Jess, to whom I'm eternally grateful for waking us up in time for 11:30 classes during our senior year.
Jimbo and I met during my freshman year at Notre Dame. In college we had a number of adventures, including driving to Punxsutawney, PA to see the groundhog (Jimbo got a speeding ticket on the way there), breaking into the dining hall, and going to the Kentucky Derby. After parting ways for a few years, we both moved to Chicago in 2006 and roomed together for three years, two of which were spent living in squalor.
