Portland is a big little city. You will probably not need a rental car unless you want to travel outside the city proper. Other than the airport trip most attractions in the city are going to be a $10 or less taxi ride and you'll spend $30 a day for a rental PLUS parking (we like Californian ideas when it comes to parking). Plus the MAX (train) in the city itself is free and really pretty convenient. If you want to rent a car, please call me first and we'll see what we can work out.
