Couples need to contact the parish office six months before the planned wedding. After couples schedule their wedding date, they need to meet with the wedding coordinator for initial paperwork and to receive a booklet that assists them in choosing readings and planning the ceremony.
For outdoor events, our picnic grounds boast 2.5 acres of grass with plenty of lush shade trees. A large covered gazebo, separate serving booth, refreshments & bar areas and indoor restroom facilities highlight this one-of-a-kind outdoor retreat.
The church campus occupies about one acre in an established Chico neighborhood within 2 blocks of Bidwell Park. The grounds include large trees, a patio between the buildings, and off street parking. We have a new sanctuary building that seats 105. We also have two ministers available to perform ceremonies.
The Downtown Club seats up to 200 guests for served or buffet style wedding receptions with a DJ and Dance Floor. On-site ceremonies may be had for weddings under 100 guests, with a reception to follow on the main floor.
Our clubhouse is designed to accommodate both formal and casual affairs to a 200 person capacity. It has a spacious 1,800 square foot banquet area and an adjacent 1,200 square foot hardwood dance floor.
