Here's the stories of how we met ~
After knowing and understanding each other well for 4 years, we are planning to go ahead with a registry office marriage. Yee Lee and I agreed on September 2, 2006 to be the day and set a one year time line for the official wedding preparation.
Our parent appears to be acceptable that the whole thing is really happening and has been discussing the tradition requirements and stuff to be prepared before the actual wedding day. It is smoother than what we had expected though.
Besides, our families have been very helpful in preparing our wedding. Thank you all and KEEP WARM!
Ho Sang and Yee Lee met during a Buddhist Camp in Taiping, Perak in the end of year 2001; she a freshie and he a senior but from different faculty.
During the camp, the committee organized a buddy system where Ho Sang were assigned to be Yee Lee's Doraemon. She received notes from him daily without knowing who he was but Doraemon already knew he was dealing with a beautiful lady. :D
They shared the same topics through note conversation and met each other on the last day of the camp but without further approach.
A month later, where both had probably already forgotten about each other....met again in a Buddhist Event (Both were actually not actively involve in the society). The fate had brought them together again to the same team and had more face-to-face conversation during the event.
Then, they keep in touch via SMSs and had their first dating on Jan 6, 2002 ...
Their first dating was on Jan 6, 2002 attending a varsity Chinese music performance.
Ho Sang was suppose to pick her up at her college at 7 pm. It started to rain heavily at 6.45 pm and he was driving his Honda EX5 from SS2 to Jln University. He went for a shelter at a near by bus stop.
By the time he reached there, it was already 7.40 pm and the lady looks frustrated. Anyway, they made it to the show and had a wonderful moment criticizing, admiring and laughing at the performance. Malaysian, Taiwan-based artist, Lin Yu Zhong was one of the performer that night!
After the show, Ho Sang suggested to bring her for a supper at PJ Old Town. During the journey, he noticed that she was not very comfortable riding on bikes. :P
Before they reach the Mamak, there was a road block at Jln Gasing and was asked to stop at a side to show them his license. It was really an embarrassing moment.
At last, they reached the place safely and had another wonderful moment together drinking Milo Shake. The Mee Rojak was yummy! (We never have chance to go there for a second time after the Indian vs Malay racist incident on year 2006.)
After the dating, Ho Sang realized that there was a gap between them and were probably from a different world. However, the story goes on ...
Groom:
I can't leave without Seremban Beef Noodle!
Bride:
I am sure Sarawak Dried Noodle is the BEST!
The differences of our personalities and characteristics will ONLY make out relationship more interesting.
Ho Sang bought a wedding ring on July 30, 2006 and proposed to Yee Lee when she came back from vacation in Sarawak on August 6. "Darling, would you ..."
It is not a very romantic proposal, but with the proposal coming from her love one, she couldn't have cared less and she happily accepted.
They have been planning for the big day ever since.
Finally we've bought our own apartment and had a wonderful pre-house-warming session with beloved relatives on Sept 14th, 2008.
We've book the apartment in March and surprisingly the apartment was completed earlier then we've expected. We just love the place and we are now settle down in Puchong Jaya. :)
