Fabric Shopping! ^__^

And we're done fabric shopping. \^o^/

We were already at Ilaya by 9AM but since it's Christmas season, Divi is jam-packed. Buti na lang at sinamahan kami ni Tita Baby (our gown maker) because before today, I didn't know that there are more than one type of satin fabric. Ahaha!

For future reference, here's the pricelist of what we bought:

Fabrics

1. Star satin - 70/yd
2. Lining (gina) - 19/yd
3. Georgette - 60/yd
4. Taffeta - 60/yd
5. Dope dyed chiffon - 90/yd
6. Satin (oridinary ata) - 48/yd
7. Charmeuse - 80/yd
8. Crepe back satin (basta yung double sided fabric) - 130/yd
9. Corded lace for scallop - 600/yd
10. Corded patch lace - 600/yd
11. Tulle - 35/yd
12. Heavy lace - 450/yd

Note: All fabrics except for #12 were bought from Always Bridal.

Beads / Pearls / Sequins

1. 1/4K sequins - 195
2. 1/4K beads - 35
3. 1 string oval pearls, 3mm + 1 string round pearls, 3mm - 67

Note: Beads, sequins and pearls were bought from Morning Glory store.

Since I haven't posted this before, here are Tita Baby's labor rates.

• Bridal gown - 2500php
• Moms - 700php
• SS / MOH / BM - 500php (long gown)
• FG - 300php

Given the data above, just how much did we save?

Bridal gown
Budget: 5K~8K (yes, kuripot ako)
Actual damage breakdown:

Labor - 2500php
Fabric - 2868php
Pearls + sequins + beads - 199

Total: 5567php

Entourage
Budget: 13.5K~22.5K (for 10 pax)
Actual damage breakdown:

Labor:

• Moms - 1400php
• SS(3), MOH, BM - 2500php
• FG(3) - 900php
• Labor total: 4800php

Fabric: 3153php
Sequins: 98php

Total: 8051php
