The RIU Ocho Rios is an all inclusive 4 star resort located on a breathtaking beach surrounded by rainforests and waterfalls. The area of Ocho Rios is famous for Fern Gully, a rocky gorge of tremendous depth which zig-zags for miles from the Ocho Rios coast up to the central mountain area of the island. It is filled with over 500 species of tropical ferns and tropical rain forest. Ocho Rios also owes much of it's fame to Dunn's River Falls, which is only one of the many waterfalls in the area that you can swim in or climb. The resort is all inclusive 24 hours and has three restaurants; a gourmet restaurant called "Sir John", and Asian restaurant called "Mandalay", and an Italian restaurant called "Piccola Italia", all which require reservations, as well as a fantastic hot and cold buffet that is available for breakfast lunch, and dinner. Pizza, pasta and assorted deserts are always availale for lunches, and there is a jerk (traditional jamaican barbecue) hut on the beach 6 days a week. The resort also offers several bars, including beach bars, and two swim up bars. The beautifully decorated rooms include a hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-bar (stocked with water, pop, and beer at no extra charge), a liquor dispenser (at no extra charge), satelite TV, an alarm clock, an in room safe, a balcony or terrace. Inter-connecting rooms are available upon request. A spa service is also available. Junior suites, suites and superior suites are also available at an extra charge. Sports and leisure activities include access to a gym, table tennis, volleyball, sauna, jacuzzi, floodlit hard surface tennis court, a multipurpose sports pitch, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling equipment, one introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool (all included). Other sports available near by include golf, horseback riding, biliards, and scuba diving. There is entertainment nightly as well as a kids club with all day activities for kids aged 4 to 12.

(there is also loads of shade available on the beach so you can get a break from the sun if you need it!) Great Pools: If you are not a beach lover, you can relax in or by one of the hotel's beautiful, and large pools, complete with sun-loungers, lots of shade, and bar service. The Jerk Hut: On the beach, the Jerk Hut will provide you with endless delicious jerk chicken etc.! Beach Parties with Fire Dancers: Every now and then the hotel throws a party on the beach complete with fire dancers doing AMAZING things! Sports Bar: watch the game, have a sandwich or burger or grab popcorn or nachos and head to the beach!
