Also, we will be at the resort from June 17-22. We have asked Steve to research a 3 nights stay for our guests from June 19-22 ranging from $800-1000 per person (double occupancy), including airfare. If you would like to come earlier or later in order to make this a vacation for you or your family that sounds great to us, just let Steve know and he can work his magic.
Please also feel free to research your travel on your own, we want you to find the cheapest option for you. If you choose to use your own travel agent please be sure to let them and RIU know that you are there for our wedding.
You will need a Passport:
In order to travel and enter Jamaica you will need a passport. Please order it early because it can take 4-6 weeks to come. The easiest way to order one is to go to your local post office. You will need your birth certificate and other ID as well as 2 passport pictures. Some post office sites will take passport pictures for you, for a fee or places like CVS can also take the pictures. There is also a fee for the passport. Please go to

Again, you must have a passport to get on the plane. If you don't get one there is no way you will be able to come to Jamaica with us.
Transportation To and From MBJ
~The airport in Jamaica that you will fly into is Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (MBJ).
~The hotel is approximately 65 miles from the Montego bay airport. The ride generally takes between 1.5 to 2 hours. Your driver will stop along the way for bathroom and refreshment breaks.
~For those who book through Steve, he should make sure that this is included, but make sure to double check. If you did not book through Steve, you can arrange transportation separately, but PLEASE make sure to arrange it prior to your trip. We do not recommend trying to hail a cab at the airport because of the distance.
