Taralee, the love of Christen's life, is a second year medical student with a strong passion for Public Health and an avid cheese lover.
Christen, the love of Taralee's life, is a third year medical student with a desire to be an anesthesiologist. He is also a life long movie lover and video game enthusiast.
Peter is an outstanding, supportive and loving father. He currently lives in Santa Clara where Taralee visits her family often. Peter is a gardener with quite the green thumb and an enthusiastic coin collector. He is also a friend of Christen's and perhaps one of his biggest fans. Along with the Kemp family, he looks forward to continuing to love and support his daughter and son-in-law as husband and wife.
Rick and Kathy are generous and loving parents. They currently live in Colorado where they are foster parents to a number of children and continual sources of support for their own grown-up children in Colorado and California. The couple welcomes Christen to their family joyously.
Christen's mother Kim is also one of his closest friends. She has been a source of love and wisdom to her son and her future daughter-in-law throughout their relationship. Along with her family, she happily welcomes the marriage of this couple. The Adams/Simon family's generosity and support is loving and unconditional.
Two sisters have never been closer than Sam and Tara were as girls and, besides location, little has changed as they have grown up. Samantha, recently married to Matthew Wells, is very supportive of Christen and Taralee and it is an honor to have her alongside them on their wedding day.
Taralee and Erin began their friendship in Santa Barbara just weeks before the bride and groom crossed paths in the same fateful city. They have been best and silliest friends ever since and Erin, a dancing queen of sorts, has watched the couple grow over time with support and love the whole way through.
Some call him Ejae.
Christen met Ejae as a little boy in third grade. The two have grown up together and Ejae has remained a friend that Christen can relax and be himself with over the years. He has also been a kind and positive influence for the couple as well.
Chandra and Taralee met at a swim meet, many moons ago, in their middle school years. The rest is history with quite the list of good stories and laughs. Ask to hear some at the wedding! She is sometimes referred to as the bridesmaid extraordinaire for her dedication and hard work with the maid of honor as a member of the bridal party.
This soon to be nurse is one of two friends that Taralee met through Chandra in High School. Julie can put anyone at ease with her charm and sincerity and she has seen Taralee through the very best and worst of times. It is an honor to have her in the bridal party.
Lucy, a world traveler who will be joining us from her recent tour of South America, is the second of two friends that Taralee made in High School via Chandra Lovejoy. This Scottish born red head is as fiery and fun as her hair and, in case that wasn't justification enough to have her in this bridal party, she is also a wonderful friend through and through.
Destiny, or future Dr. Judkins, became friends with Taralee while they worked together and attended the same Masters program at Emory University. Over the past couple of years, Destiny has brought both sense and happiness to her friendship with Taralee and subsequently every part of her life, including Taralee's relationship with Christen.
Susana and Taralee met at UCSB when they lived together in 2005. Susana was soon introduced to Christen and eventually this small group began enjoying regular study, movie and game nights where friendships were forged and much fun was had. Susana has seen the couple grow together first hand and her friendship remains quite valuable to both the bride and groom.
Ben has been Christen's study buddy since they began medical school together and met in 2006. Christen can always count on relaxing with his neighbor Ben. They have a number of "inside jokes" and can laugh about anything together.
Simon and Christen became pals in third grade. The two were best buds in high school and they can always joke around and make fun of each other knowing that no one's feelings are hurt. With such a long friendship, it is never too hard to recall some good ammunition of embarrassing stories about each other from over the years.
Luis and Christen met in 2002 during the Summer Institute of Math and Science at UCSB. Luis was Christen's best friend during their four years together in Santa Barbara and they have shared many memories as classmates and roommates. Luis has a great sense of humor and can always make the couple laugh.
Ian, a freshman at UCSB, is the youngest of Christen's cousins. They spent their childhood playing video games together and have always shared a similar collected temperament about life. Taralee and Christen have watched Ian mature over the past six years and consider him a good friend.
Kenny is Christen's uncle and has been a role model for the groom throughout his life. He is kind and easy to talk to and the couple looks forward to the positive spirit he will surely bring to the wedding party and big event.
Josh and Christen met during their Freshman year at Terra Nova High School. Though they don't get to spend as much time together as they might like, the two have remained friends. Christen has given Josh many nicknames including: Ojay, Woodie Allen and Pops-O. These could make for good conversation starters with him at the wedding!
Max is an adventure loving third grader who, together with his sister Roxy, is a constant light in the lives of Taralee and Christen. The couple has enjoyed babysitting Max together over the years and it is such a delight to watch him grow from a baby to a little boy and now a big boy and great big brother. He will definitely be the best ring bearer ever!

This adorable little girl loves to wear Taralee's high heels and she can always make Christen smile. Her curly strawberry blond locks are just a small indication of the energy and joy she brings to everyone around her. She and her brother Max are the best of friends and they will make an excellent team on the wedding day.
Raymond, A Junior at San Diego State University, is Taralee's brother and the two have challenged each other to succeed in life since their childhood. He will be an excellent business man in any field he chooses someday and his confidence and shining smile will make guests feel welcome and at ease. He will escort Kathleen Angelo, Mother of the Bride, down the aisle.
Ben, another future doctor, and Taralee were co-workers in college. As peers in the medical field, Christen, Taralee and Ben have always shared a great level of respect and sense of camaraderie with one another. He is an excellent friend and a common source of spiritual support. Ben will escort Kim Adams, Mother of the Groom, down the aisle.
Stephen is a former supervisor and promises to be lifelong mentor of Taralee. His support and wisdom have been invaluable in the couple's relationship. He is an active member in the lives of his friends, family and within his community. It is an honor to have him escort Marion West, Grandmother of the Bride, down the aisle.
Frankie and Taralee were also co-workers at UCSB. Frankie has a special appreciation for the quirky passions that Christen and Taralee share. He is an excellent storyteller and good listener all at once. He will be a true friend through the years. Frankie will escort Elizabeth Kemp, Grandmother of the Bride, down the aisle.
Zekee is yet another former co-worker of Taralee's. He is a charismatic and successful student at UCSB. He is an unconditional and valuable friend who is driven and humble in everything he pursues. Zekee is sure to bring joy to the wedding day as he escorts Linda Simon, Christen's Aunt, down the aisle during the wedding ceremony.
