Coming from out-of-state or out-of-country for the wedding? Well, here are some fun things to do around Indiana and the Chicagoland area.
Amazing antique store in Chesterton, Indiana. It's our favorite :) There are tons of little keepsakes and treasures to be found here. Reasonably priced, nice owners, and a bunch of great stuff!
Such a fun waterpark! Definitely worth a trip if the weather is warm. Plus it looks like our wedding day is the FIRST day of their season! So, bring your swimsuits and get ready for some fun in the sun :)
A wonderful record shop in Chicago. There are 3 locations, but this one is the best! Why? Because they have a photobooth, of course! It's so fun to walk around and browse records...then take some fun photos when you're done. Definitely worth checking out if you take a trip into the city.
Six Flags Great America. Need we say more? Definitely worth hitting up, especially if you don't have one near you. Lots of roller coasters, snacks, and good times.
An adorable apple orchard in Hobart, Indiana. The season starts up in late May, so plan to give them a visit! You can pick apples and buy homemade salsa and jam at their gift shop.
Ogden Dunes/All Over, Indiana
Our claim to fame. Miles of beach along the lakefront of Lake Michigan. Tons of great spots to get some sun and hang out outdoors. And if you're up for it, you can go camping as well!
We love sweets and we love candy. If you do too, check this place out. It has an amazing array of lovely chocolates, gummies, and sweets of all kinds! Oh, and did we mention Albanese is home of the world's best gummies?!
