We did it! Our wedding was a SUCCESS! Thanks to everyone who helped out and made it happen! Love you MOMMY....You're the best MOM in the world. Love my DADDY and my BROTHERS! ~Tine
The Luau Wedding Shower was a hit!
We celebrated our wedding shower with an hawaiian luau theme last saturday. It was such a great fun time for everyone. We had amazing people eating delicious food and of course the main even was the entertainment throughout the night. From the bridal shower games to the hula performances. It was a night filled with the spirit of aloha! The weather was perfect and the people were festive. What more can we ask?Thanks to all who came and celebrated with us. Mahalo!
Wedding Invitations
We've mailed out the first batch of our wedding invitations. Can't believe we have only 2 more months until the "big day." It's been such a fun and exciting time for the both us. It was so much fun putting all the invitations together. It really was a team effort. Thanks to my Auntie Mae, Gigi and of course Mom Angie for helping with the invites. To all of you who received your invites, please make sure to mail your Response Cards with your meal choices. By the way, the beef just in case...
4 months and counting the days...
How time flies. We have just about 4 months to go! We are so very excited for the "big" day and can't wait to celebrate it with family and friends. There's still so much planning and preparations to do and all we can say is Ahhhhhh!!!! Our family/friends has been great in offering help and we thank them so much. As the saying goes.....no plan, no fun! Actually that's our saying. Till the next blog......muah!
My oh My! - Bachelorette Round # 1 Complete!
As the saying goes, What happen's in VEGAS stays in Vegas! It was an exciting fun-filled weekend getaway with just the girls.....Thanks ladies for celebrating with me! Now that round # 1 is complete, bring on round # 2, I'm ready! San Francisco.....here we come! I have to say that I'm having the time of my life plannng our wedding. Adam...believe it or not enjoys it as well especially when it comes to tastings. We can't hardly wait for the next event, wedding shower!
Finally.....I got my "BRIDAL GOWN"
After searching and trying on many gowns, I finally found the "gown." Both my Mom and I smiled, cheered and was extremely happy when I tried on the dress. The dress is sooooo me. It has character and personality. It has all the features I wanted in 5 different dresses rolled into one. I'm soooo happy I got a dress that totally fits the theme and vision of the wedding. I hope Adam will love it as much as I do. I'm sure he will....he knows me and I'm not boring! I'm definitely bringing the...
March Madness & "Save the Date"
It's "MARCH MADNESS" literally in the wedding planning world not just college basketball. Time seems to just fly by when you're planning a wedding. We can't believe its March and we have 7 months to go until the "Big" day. We are definitely in full gear on planning....or let's say trying to be on full gear. We also sent out our "save the date" cards (phase I) so if you haven't received yours....its coming! OK, that's it for today. It's Monday so....let the crazy week begin!
Our Engagement Party.....What a success! Thanks.
Our Engagement Party last Saturday night (02-21-2009) was a success! We had all our family and friends there having a blast enjoying great food, wine and champagne. Since we were not able to mention everyone during our welcome remarks, we would like to again say "thanks" to all who came and celebrated with us. Thanks to Jim and Paula (Adam's parents) for traveling the all the way from Rochester, NY to be a part of our special night. We also want to say thanks to our friends,...
Adam's Parents arrive from NY today!
Today at 1PM....Adam's parents will arrive from NY to attend our Engagement Party this coming Saturday. We are both so excited to see them and show them the wedding ceremony site and of course the reception site. It's been snowy and cold in Rochester, NY lately so hopefully our clear weather today will make them smile ;-) They'll be in town for a week so we have lots of sightseeing to do!
