Chris and I first met through a mutual friend online. We met in person in 2004 and started writing each other often. Over the period of a year, we realized that our feelings had grown very deep.

In January of 2005, we finally told each other how we felt. Chris came to visit me in October of that year and we celebrated Halloween and my birthday together. We continued to see each other long distance. In early 2007, Chris took a big step and asked me to move in with him. I still had some loose ends to tie up and bills to get paid before I moved though so I stuck around the South for a while.

Chris fiiiinally proposed in June of 2007 and I actually said, "DUH!" :) It was a most precious moment in both of our lives.

In September of 2007, I decided that it was time to face my fears and leave my home of 28 years. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. I left behind my friends, family, animals, and a wonderful job. But, the thoughts of a wonderful future with the man I loved got me through it.

I am living in Dobbs Ferry, NY with Chris now and we will be getting married at Merrehope in Meridian, MS on October 11th, 2008.
