Claire and Joseph were both attending Brigham Young University when they met in October, 2006. Their first glances to one another were offered at the Divine Comedy Halloween show, which they both attended with a group of mutual friends and acquaintances.

Through a number of other such occasions, Claire and Joseph became more interested in one another, especially getting to know each other on long trips to the airport to drop off and pick up a friend of theirs.

Although formal dates had not begun, the relationship already had. Claire would meet Joseph for international cinema, devotionals, and other such events. Soon, dates became more common, and Joseph began coming over to Claire’s apartment often, to watch movies, play games, and read books.

In a short while, Joseph declared his undying love for Claire, and she agreed to see where things went from there. Over time, Claire agreed to marry the poor boy, and the two lived happily ever after.
