Our dress theme is "Creatively Elegant."
We celebrate our unique and creative guests, and recognize that not everybody enjoys wearing traditional wedding attire. We encourage each of you to wear whatever you feel best honors the occasion, whether it's a tux or tea dress, or something more unique to you. Please keep in mind that our guest list is as diverse as our lives and will include grandmothers, small children, family members and friends whose sensibilities range from creative to conservative. Here are some suggestions...
~ Formal and semi-formal wedding wear: gowns, dresses and skirts for ladies, tuxedos, and suits for men.
~ Formal gothic wear, including RomantiGoth inspired outfits, fine corsetry, and cloaks.
~ Formal ethnic garb, such as saris or formal kimonos
~ Period clothing, from Medieval to Renaissance to Victorian, etc.
~ Kilts, poet shirts, long coats, top hats, etc.
~ anything which conveys ‘formal and elegant’ within your personal aesthetic sense.
~ Sports wear or Casual Day wear
~ Halloween “costumes”, masks, facepaint, face-covering items
~ Anything you wouldn't be comfortable with your own child or grandparent seeing. Please avoid anything that would seem more like clubwear, or would be considered "risque."
