Crystal almost didn't come to La Crosse that cold winter night in January, but something told her to go. She was out with some friends at The Vogue on the north side of La Crosse and he walked through the door.

She told her friends that night that she would marry that man (Travis) that had walked through the door. They dared her to approach him. She walked up to him and the conversation began.

They exchanged numbers and the next night they talked for hours on the phone. They planned an official date for the following Thursday, January 13, 2005. They have been together ever since. Now they are getting married--Crystal was right!
