Our Story
How we met...
We met in the spring of 2004, when our friends, Carrie and Molly, and Dana's sisters, Brenna and Julie, arranged for us to meet. This was a surprise to Dana, who was celebrating her 22nd birthday. Two weeks later, we went on our first official date and we had a great time together! We have been together just about every day since...some of our friends wonder if we ever get sick of each other! We are celebrating four years together at the end of May!
The Proposal...
We had always talked about having a ceremony, but we weren't sure how our families would feel about it. In September of 2007, we attended the baby shower of our friends, Sarah and Cindy, with Lindsay's mom, Cheryl. Lindsay's mom brought up the idea of having a committment ceremony and we were so excited! We talked about the possibility all the way home from Michigan! The next week we went to look at the 20th Century Theater and we booked the date that day. Although it was a non-traditional proposal, it kind of fits us!
