Blessed
Right now I want to take some time to thank God today for everything! School can be so discouraging sometimes, but when I take a couple steps back and just look around, I begin to realize how blessed I am. I'm sitting at the dining room table this morning, listening to my wonderful dad make pancakes for us, and my mom fiddling around the kitchen getting all the stuff he needs to make them. Rudy is sipping on a coffee still trying to wake up. It's actually a beautiful sound, the sound of a family. In a little over a month I will be a 3rd year dental student (fingers crossed and God-willing!) and then soon after that I will be a married woman! Sunday is Easter and this weekend I want to take some time to reflect on God and what he did for me, and all of us, on that Sunday. God is good and I thank him for sending is one and only Son to die for us and then Rise again!
