Just Breathe
Finals are over! I don't think I have been that stressed in a long time! I'm so thankful God gave me the strength to get through everything! I must say it really is a blessing that Rudy is in Dental school with me. He's there to study with and make me laugh.
Well, I've got 2 weeks off and I have about 2 million things that need to get done! Ha! I will do the best I can is all I can say! Right now I am relishing in the fact that my finals are over and I don't have to think about school for 2 weeks. I am going to get my dress altered first thing in the morning and send out the last batch of invites (those that I just got the addresses for), which reminds me that I wanted to say, the invitations are out! Be looking for those! YAY! To me they are absolutely beautiful and simple, just as I would've wanted.
On another happy note, I will be going to visit my BFF from highschool, who also is my maid of honor, in Baltimore on Saturday! I am going to be prepared for late night chats, laughing till I cry, working out, shopping, being silly, and of course wedding planning. Courtney is a wonderful person who I love and adore. I can't wait to spend some time with her! The funny thing is she will be flying to Dallas to see me and host/give my bridal shower! I am also excited about that! She is true friend for flying across the country just to do that! :)
I got Dane and I's first gift in the mail! It was from Crate and Barell from my Aunt Leslie (my mom's brother's wife). She had a note that said she wouldnt be able to make the shower but to "enjoy the girls!" since it will be an all girl's shower. :) She is a sweetheart! Her and my uncle live in beautiful sunny California and I wish i could see them more often!
So my ultimate goal for the next 2 weeks is to take some charge of my life! Haha that sounds funny but really its true! It's easy to neglect everything when you have 13 finals you have to take( I wish i was joking about 13 finals! Its true!). So, I need to get more organized, pray more, read my bible more and take time to thank God for things like the sunset or how wonderful my family is to me.
Dane is doing well and studying more than ever because he will be taking his boards at the end of June! Make sure to send prayers his way! I miss him constantly and its very hard to do wedding stuff without him! I would say that we communicate very well though so it works! I can't wait to marry that handsome dude! :)
