Cape Cod Beaches
The beaches of the North and West of Cape Cod face Cape Cod Bay and have the least surf. The tides go out for miles and are safest here. The southside beaches facing Nantucket Sound have small wave action. The east-facing beaches are on the Atlantic Ocean and have larger surf and undertows.
Whale Watching
The Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises office are open 7 days a week during watching season (May-Oct. Normal business hours (9am-5pm).

Nantucket

The island is 14 miles in length and 3 1/2 miles wide. It is a beautiful oasis of over 40 % conservation land with plentiful beaches accessible to the public for all to respect and enjoy
