Everyone has their own love stories to tell... and here's ours..
We are schoolmates back in college at the Lyceum of the Philippines University under the College of Business Administration.
In year 2004, we became classmates in one our subjects, particularly taxation 1 under Prof. Sousa. One day, our professor was late in class which actually seldom happens. We actually don't know if she will be attending the class or not.
DARRELL: i want to go to the computer shop that time, so i gave her my number and ask her if she could text me if our professor came to class after i left.
TIMMY: then i texted him that our professor did not come to class that day.
From then on, we became textmates. We are both enjoying with the company of each other but...
DARRELL: i'm not yet attracted to her at first.
TIMMY: well i still have boyfriend that time anyway.
Realizing it's not yet time for us, we stayed friends.
TIMMY: i lost my phone. So we lost our communication from there as well.
DARRELL: although we usually see each other in school, i'm too shy to approach her to ask for her number again.
In year 2006, we found each other in friendster and there we had a communication again. But this time, we text more often and...
DARRELL: this time, i'm already interested to get to know her more and be with her more often.
TIMMY: i admit, i like him. unfortunately, we cannot be more than friends because i'm still committed with someone else.
After how many months of texting, we lost our communication again. Thinking that we may not be meant for each other,
DARRELL: i committed myself with another girl.
In year 2007,
TIMMY: i graduated in college and worked as an accounting assistant at the SM Head Office under the Casamia Furniture Center, Inc.
After a year,
DARRELL: i graduated in college and also worked at the SM Head Office under the Marketing Convergence Inc.
Sometimes in June 2008, our paths met again for the 3rd time. During our lunch break in work, we bumped into each other at the canteen. Excitedly, we talked and discovered that we're working on the same office under different companies. From then on, we often see each other, we start texting again and sometimes we go out together.
Afraid of losing each other for the 3rd time, we took the risk of showing and expressing what we feel despite the fact that we might hurt other people. We don't know what our decision will bring but we strongly fought for it. Yes, it's hard, it's unusual, it's difficult, but it's all worth it. As the saying goes: "If it's meant to be, it will definitely be." :)
Darrell, also known as "Mac", was born on May 03, 1988 at Dr. Jose Fabella Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila. He is the eldest son of Mr. Efren M. Rey and Mrs. Roberta S. Rey. He is a gradute of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Management Accounting at the Lyceum of the Philippines University. He is currently working at the Boyscout of the Philippines under the National Scout Shop as an Accounting Staff.
Darrell is a man of few words. Our friends usually describe him as quiet, shy, and mysterious. But for me, the best word that could describe him is "SWEET". He never fails to make me feel special and he actually loves surprising me. I think he's sweet not only to me but to his family and friends as well. As a boyfriend, I can really say that he is also patient, understanding and loving. He's a boyfriend and a best friend in one. I can share with him anything under the sun. I can cry to him when I'm sad and I laugh with him when I'm glad. My family and relatives also love him because he treats them as his own. He is the only guy who was able to make himself comfortable with my family, maybe because he's not afraid to show his true self that's why he never had a hard time interacting with them. Actually, there's a lot of things I'm thankful for having Darrell in my life and these are just some of them. I love him and I love everything about him. Because of Darrell, i learned to believe that there is really a Destiny. :)
Timmy, known as "Tim-Tim" when she was younger, was born on the 13th of October, 1986 at the Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in Valenzuela. She is the eldest of 3 daughters of Atty. Alvin G. Zamora and Mrs. Ma. Manuela I. Zamora. She graduated from the Lyceum of the Philippines University with the degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Management Accounting. Presently, she's working as a Paralegal Officer at Zamora Law Office and, at the same time, she's taking up Law at the Arellano University School of Law.
Mostly, people's first impression to Timmy is that she is grumpy, peevish, snob... and in tagaglog "mataray", "masungit", "suplada", lahat na.. hehehe.. but definitely it doesn't last. Actually, you’ll never know her unless you get along with her. She’s a moody type of person yet sweet. The best thing that I like on her is that she has her own way of making me happy and making me feel special. Maria Fatima I. Zamora is the person that I love most and the one that I'm sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I never imagined that destiny will find to meet us up. But all I can say now is that nothing is impossible if that person is really destined for you.
Dad, if all the fathers
Had lined up one by one,
And God told me to pick,
I'd still choose to be your son.
I'm proud to have a father
Who listens and understands,
Who teaches me and sets fair rules
Without unfair demands.
Dad you are my hero,
My role model in all you do.
So Dad, if I could pick again,
You know I'd still pick you!
Mom, you're a wonderful mother,
So gentle, yet so strong.
The many ways you show you care
Always make me feel I belong.
You're patient when I'm foolish;
You give guidance when I ask;
It seems you can do most anything;
You're the master of every task.
You're a dependable source of comfort;
You're my cushion when I fall.
You help in times of trouble;
You support me whenever I call.
I love you more than you know;
You have my total respect.
If I had my choice of mothers,
You'd be the one I'd select!
You may have thought I didn't see,
Or that I hadn't heard,
Life lessons that you taught to me,
But I got every word.
Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
And that we'd grow apart,
But Dad, I picked up everything,
It's written on my heart.
Without you, Dad, I wouldn't be
The (woman)(man) I am today;
You built a strong foundation
No one can take away.
I've grown up with your values,
And I'm very glad I did;
So here's to you, dear father,
From your forever grateful kid.
Mom, without you, there would be no me.
Your love, your attention, your guidance,
have made me who I am.
Without you, I would be lost,
without direction or purpose.
You showed me the way
to serve, to accomplish, to persevere.
Without you, there would be an empty space
I could never fill, no matter how I tried.
Instead, because of you,
I have joy, contentment, satisfaction and peace.
Thank you, mom.
I have always loved you
and I always will.
